Patrick Diamond and his wife Judy live in Charlotte, North Carolina. Patrick has held management positions with
North Carolina National Bank (NCNB), Duke Energy Corporation, and the City of Chicago. He earned his
undergraduate and graduate degrees at Boston University. While at BU Pat was a 3-year starter on the
football team and set the school’s all-time rushing record. Patrick’s 1969 team was ranked the # 1 college
football team in New England and with a 9-1 record, BU was invited to play in the Pasadena Bowl and
faced San Diego State University in the Rose Bowl Stadium.
Patrick has served on Boards of Directors and Advisory Committees at the Art Institute of Chicago,
Southside Community Arts Center, Reynolda House Museum, Winston-Salem Arts Council, Mint
Museum of Art, McColl Center for Art & Innovation, Greater Charlotte Cultural Trust, Arts North Carolina
and Charlotte’s Arts Empowerment Project. Artwork from Patrick and Judy’s collection has been on
exhibition in more than 20 Museums, University Galleries, and Art Centers throughout the country
including; the Art Institute of Chicago, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum
of American Art, the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art, The Black Academy of Arts and Letters,
the American Jazz Museum, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Cincinnati University DAAP Galleries and the
National Gallery of Art.
